THOR 4 DID WELL
BECAUSE THOR 3 WAS FIRE
AND MCU WAS STILL RIDING HIGH
ON GOOD WILL.
HAD THIS MOVIE COME OUT
2 YRS AGO IT WOULD HAVE DONE
WELL OFF THE STRENGTH OF THE MCU.
AFTER DROPPING ABOUT 8
MID TO TRASH PRODUCTS LIKE THOR 4
IN THE LAST
2 YEARS THIS MOVIE NEVER STOOD A CHANCE.
Breh almost half of Thor 4 audience was female.
The women went to see it to see Chris Hemsworth and for the love story with Natalie Portman.
Shang Chi, Eternals and Black Widow were ALL released before Thor 4 and were semi flops.

I thought people didn’t like the cliche romance in hero movies. I don’t think they just needed a man there but if it was he would have to be on captain marvel teir or he would just be the comic relief.

Technically all the theaters and shyt were open when 'Eternals' came out. It just flopped cause it was terrible.

So was James Bond which made over $700M
So was Fast 9 which made over $700M.
They were ALL released in the same year as Shang Chi, Black Widow and Eternals.
Let's not give those 2021 Marvel semi flops a pass because of "the pandemic" when other movies in the same year were making big bread.
Women certainly did that's why they made up almost half of the audience share of that movie.

Spiderman came out in December 2021 and the Omicron covid strain was all over that month.
Spiderman still made $2B.
James bond without China is still over $700M
Fast 9 without China still has a higher total than the Shang Chi, Eternals and Black Widow.
They were semi flops.
We gotta stop with the excuses and giving Marvel a pass along with using the "pandemic" excuse when convenient.
Black Widow, Eternals and Shang Chi all should have cleared $600M MINIMUM

'Eternals' was definitely a flop in the sense that theaters were fully opened and it was not released on Disney+ until after it's theater run. It also had a production budget of $236M.
