The Marshall Mathers LP was 1 of the most popular albums in the 2000s, is it a top 25 Hip Hop album?

This is just a Slim Shady LP with better production arguably.

It did have significant impact but content hardly differ from the previous album and it’s made the album age badly.

It’s an album that strikes you greatly when you first hear it as a teenager but quality simmers down the older you get.

Has a few classic songs on there (Stan & The Way I Am)

But it’s not a classic album to me let alone top 25

I hate Eminem, actually think this album is great though, and play it occasionally, I also believe it aged well besides a few of the pop culture lines.
Only Eminem album I actually beleive is good, I hate the rest of his discography.
Not top 25 though.

It's dope, but not 25. Too much filler. Slim Shady LP is better IMO, his best overall album, although that's not top 25 either.

Not even a top 250 hip hop album. Beat it cac :camby:

I'm Black :stopitslime:
And I was using this album as an example of how something can be so big and popular and hyped up and not be classic at all when the dust settles.
Just goes to show u that a lot of albums can be some of the most popular albums of their time but then once time passes, it don't hold up.
