No matter how hard he tried or desired it, he was never as beloved or as talented as HBK.
Gets demoted and replaced by Johnny Ace by his own father in law.
Spends the second half of his career building up the NXT brand into the only thing WWE fans seem to have any passion about, putting on classic shows for years, only for everyone to get called up and used like absolute trash and being dead in the water until getting released.
Finally gets a guy like Killer Kross who who thinks Vince will actually like and couldn't possibly bury, spends a year having Kross kill the entire NXT roster, only for Vince to call Kross up while still champ, job him out, kill the act by removing Scarlett, then cutting him anyway.
Has a heart attack and immediately after, NXT is revamped, stripping it entirely of his aesthetic, cutting 60% of the roster, with Vince/Pritchard/HBK taking over and HHH not even allowed to talk about business during his recovery, which has now been months and no one has heard a peep from him.
His own son leaves him for AEW
NXT gets put on USA to steal AEW's thunder, gets beaten so bad so regularly that it has to move nights like Thunder did when Smackdown came around.

Please go back and revisit some non-edited 1998 vids. X-Pac was definitely getting cheered over HHH. HHH truly was the least cheered out of all the group members in at that point.

Triple woat is so bad he can only be compared to another channel turner, Shane Douglas. Both these bums had such long winded promos and took over the entire show. He could be said as the reason wrestling took a huge downturn. He stunk!
