It's not just about this episode. It's the show in its entirety. It's Favreau's project and oversight

Give that man the keys

But I agree that Filoni should definitely be there too. I can see them working out in a Feige/Russo brothers way

Breh, the story is basically a sequel to Filoni's Clone Wars and Rebels. Favreau deserves all the credit for commanding the ship and not letting bullshyt ruin it (like Kennedy did with her trilogy) but if you want a "Feige" figure to take Star Wars and make it a dope tale of continuity across different media and stories, Filoni is the one that "gets it" better than anyone.

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
I just know that everyone who owns "Baby Yoda"/"The Child" merchandise is looking at it a little differently this morning. Some are in acceptance and some are in complete denial.

Young Vader terrorizing and fukking people up like at the end of Rogue One
:ohlawd:
Yea sir

I’m not into SW books so much but Lord of the Sith is worth a cheap pick-up in paperback. It’s literally Vader and Palps back to back fukking shyt up with the Sith code and their relationship woven in.

The fighting style and agility of the animated character translated beautifully to the TV Screen. The way they dipped in and out of CGI to Live action effortlessly.

Don't go full hype-man here. There are obvious flaws in the fight scenes. Chalk it up to them working on a budget, and the majority of the money went towards the CGI wizardry as opposed to the more mundane stuff like stunt and martial arts training. It might not have been on the scale of this:

...but let's not pretend it wasn't noticeable.

Also: Vader is dead. Not off-screen-with-no-confirmation dead...actually-dead-dead-with-Force-ghost-lineup-with-Yoda-and-Obi-Wan-before-the-credits-rolled dead.

Let it go.

Anybody else feel like Mando/ Din Djarin could possibly learn the force too?
Nah, dude. For one, the show has given absolutely no indication Din is force sensitive.

That aside, best thing this show is doing is letting casual Star Wars fans that are a LOT of great stories to tell in the galaxy far, far away without fukking lightsabers and force lightning being thrown in our faces. I want to see that flourish for the sake of the franchise.
