I think what they said was more like his date of birth as listed on the tracking fob was 50 years ago.

but we know that puts him at the same age as Anakin.. If Grugo was also fostered by the midechlorians then him and Anakin could be possible chosen one prospects which is why why Yoda was doubting the prophecy. especially if he was hidden and being trained in the temple. perhaps Grugo was in there and once they found anakin it changed their thoughts on the prophecy.

im only trying to find a war to retcon this into existence

They never really confirmed that he AGED 50 years. That was speculation from IG-11 when he said that species grow at different rates.
I still think more likely than not he was frozen in carbonite or some kind of suspended animation for most of those 50 years. In the two seasons since the show started, it already seems like he has matured a little bit. Season 1 "Baby Yoda" seemed a lot more like a baby, Grogu seems more like a toddler now.

Since the Star Wars universe doesn't take place in OUR timeline, and takes place "Long ago in a galaxy far far away", I suppose you can argue its ALL a prequel.
But the short version is that this show takes place about 5 years after the Return of the Jedi movie from 1983, but almost 30 years before the "NEW" Sequel movies that started coming out 5 years ago.

So from a certain point of view, it is a prequel.
Thanks for trying to take the pain away breh..but nah. I thought that's child Yoda...that's how far I was lol:snoop: You can imagine the googling thst went down when she said Grugo.

"Grugo? :wtf:"

Like I said I only saw the first movie but I might start a binge.

What do you recommend. Seeing them in order of release or chronological order?

If you watch them in "chronological" order it spoils the big famous "Suprise" in the original trilogy (which TBH you probably already know by now).
But in order to remain unspoiled you should watch them in release order.

for story sake you can watch them in order.. well the first 6 since this is 5 years after return and 20-30 years before force awakens

.

Yep. It just seems hard to believe this baby survived 20 plus years hiding his powers from the destruction of the Jedi Temple and Order 66 until he got captured.

Him being in some time of suspenseful animation and got passed around until word got out that the Empire was looking for any jedi for a high price someone had this thing from Coruscant.

Similar to how Boba Fetts armor was savaged out of the pitt/desert sitting on a wall for five years

If it were a Jedi who saved him, I would figure they would have saved more than just him.

:wow: This shyt single handedly has me want to throw myself back into the world of Star Wars. Never finished Jedi order and I only got a few episodes in on Clone Wars.

I'd definitely recommend finishing Clone Wars. Make sure you watch it in the correct order though (you can google it) since some of the episodes are all over the place. If you watch Clone Wars you'll definitely understand why so many are geeking out about Ahsoka showing up

If you watch these in chronological order you might not might not make it past the first two:francis:

So unless you got a whole lot of hours to spare, you better go with the OG trilogy first

Ashoka Was like this the whole time about training lil bud,, lmao

It's funny how all the good Jedi all eventually reach the same conclusion about training new Jedi :dead:

It's like they'd rather just they all be dead

Really hoping they go the spin off route with Asohka searching for Ezra and Thawn.
Rosario was immaculately cast.

At first I was taken back by how old she looked but realized that Ahsoka should be middle aged or close to that by now so it made sense. This episode was the best thing Star Wars in years.

I'm glad to know that Thrawn did not get taken out by a kid and a bunch of space whales. HE LIVES!!! :blessed:

If he shows up in this or any spinoff he'll probably be :flabbynsick: physically but mentally I bet he'll be on point.

I almost don't want him to be in this because I don't think he'll be given real justice. He needs to be in something where you get to see him basically playing mental chess with some nikkas. Maybe an Ahsoka spinoff film
