Yeah I think it will end up with an ET phone home situation.

Either Luke or Yoda will show him a way to get home and it will be a race against Moff to get him there.

The rest of the series will be about Mando and Bo Katan restoring Mandalore. Him coming to terms with his family in the Watch.

yoda a force ghost.. so is anakin and ben
only luke and leia are alive..

Vanity fair article about bringing Ahsoka to life. That George Lucas baby yoda picture was from the first day she was on set in full costume

The Mandalorian: Rosario Dawson Tells All About Ahsoka Tano

Interesting quote by Filoni

That quest, we learn, is a search for the villain Grand Admiral Thrawn. The last time fans saw Ahsoka was this spring's finale of The Clone Wars, but in the actual Star Wars chronology, the last time we saw her was at the end of Rebels, venturing off with Sabine Wren to find Ezra Bridger, who vanished along with Thrawn. Where does that scene fit in with where we find her in The Mandalorian?

Filoni: Right. But no, it's an interesting one… That's not necessarily chronological. I think the thing that people will most not understand is they want to go in a linear fashion, but as I learned as a kid, nothing in Star Wars really works in a linear fashion. You do [Episodes] Four, Five and Six and then One, Two, and Three. So in the vein of that history, when you look at the epilogue of Rebels you don't really know how much time has passed. So, it's possible that the story I'm telling in The Mandalorian actually takes place prior to that. Possible. I'm saying it's possible.

I think Mace surviving is possible, though I wouldn't want to see it...
Mace surviving and saving Grugu however, is a TERRIBLE idea and writers would have to be fools to follow these fan wishes lol. That would mean he shakes off an electrocution, amputation and 200 story fall and instantly goes to the jedi temple to rescue a baby and bounce?? He doesn't send a warning to the jedi as Yoda & Obi would later on? He goes through the trouble of doing that rescue, then dumps the kid and does nothing else to restore the jedi the rest of the years?

All facts dude. Everyone loves Mace Windu but let’s just acknowledge if he lived, it’d be corny and shytty storytelling. Almost as bad as Palpatine’s ridiculous resurrection.

We know from Episode III that Palpatine was in the temple shortly after Anakin and the troops killed everyone. They either found Grogu or he was rescued. Canon-wise I think there's only one person who we know survived Order 66 while in the temple:

Jocasta Nu. That librarian from Episode II. Palpatine considers her the highest priority of the living Jedi because she has the knowledge of all the force sensitive children that the Jedi were aware of.

There's a hidden chamber in the library only the Masters were aware of (so Anakin didn't know about it) where she hid out and later escapes from. She returns to the temple to destroy the rest of the data but sees an inquisitor and cannot resist attacking him. Vader shows up and captures her.

When he finds out about the list, and that Palpatine was aware of it, he kills her and destroys the data rather then share it with Palpatine.

This is all from the VADER comics by Charles Soule. Excellent stories in there.

Now for the theory: we don't actually see her hiding out, she tells someone she did. So there is room there for her to have saved some Jedi or at least some younglings.
Bro that was one of my favorite comic lines. Great. Star Wars comics have honesty been doing great since being under Marvel again.

Yep it's like the EU/tv writers looked at the Disney movies and all went ":gucci: guess it's up to us then".

Can't wait for the HIGH REPUBLIC saga to kick off.

if frozen it wouldnt age..

i take that line as when he was stolen/captured and hid his powers. The empire where checking him for midichlorians the scientist mention he had high m-levels.. they wanted to use him to help palpatine..
They never really confirmed that he AGED 50 years. That was speculation from IG-11 when he said that species grow at different rates.
I still think more likely than not he was frozen in carbonite or some kind of suspended animation for most of those 50 years. In the two seasons since the show started, it already seems like he has matured a little bit. Season 1 "Baby Yoda" seemed a lot more like a baby, Grogu seems more like a toddler now.

So....all 13 Eps. I was watching it as the little frog is a Young Yoda and that the Show is all a prequel.

Yeah.

Tomorrow I'm going to see if I am eligible for some special needs aids and find me a handler.

To my defense, I've only seen one SW movie, the one where Leya Facetimes from the Robot.

Since the Star Wars universe doesn't take place in OUR timeline, and takes place "Long ago in a galaxy far far away", I suppose you can argue its ALL a prequel.
But the short version is that this show takes place about 5 years after the Return of the Jedi movie from 1983, but almost 30 years before the "NEW" Sequel movies that started coming out 5 years ago.

So from a certain point of view, it is a prequel.

in ep 2 or 3 he was said to be approximately 50 years old..

Did you watched young justice? i see grugo as being held captive and being used to be be experimented on similar to Roy harper.

and these experiments are a prequel for what palpatine was trying to do which led to Rey ..

I think what they said was more like his date of birth as listed on the tracking fob was 50 years ago.
