Was Grogu rescued or stolen?
i just binged all 13 episodes...this was the first time this season they focused on it, it could have been to setup later in the episode but I think it could be the tracker

Was Grogu rescued or stolen?
We know from Episode III that Palpatine was in the temple shortly after Anakin and the troops killed everyone. They either found Grogu or he was rescued. Canon-wise I think there's only one person who we know survived Order 66 while in the temple:
Jocasta Nu. That librarian from Episode II. Palpatine considers her the highest priority of the living Jedi because she has the knowledge of all the force sensitive children that the Jedi were aware of.
There's a hidden chamber in the library only the Masters were aware of (so Anakin didn't know about it) where she hid out and later escapes from. She returns to the temple to destroy the rest of the data but sees an inquisitor and cannot resist attacking him. Vader shows up and captures her.
When he finds out about the list, and that Palpatine was aware of it, he kills her and destroys the data rather then share it with Palpatine.
This is all from the VADER comics by Charles Soule. Excellent stories in there.
Now for the theory: we don't actually see her hiding out, she tells someone she did. So there is room there for her to have saved some Jedi or at least some younglings.
episode 9 - Boba Fett episode did not focus on iti just binged all 13 episodes...
Its not ... but it could be the tracker
I think the tracker is in that ball that Grogu is fascinated by. I think he knows something is wrong with which is why he was focused on it at the beginning of the episode
Exactly he took to that in season one. It’s a running bit.Isn't that the knob of one of the shifters in the ship? Doubt that would be where they put the tracker
The line about his memory becoming dark makes me think carbonite freezing. If someone wanted Yoda’s species and the weakest one you could find was at the temple. We know from Episode III that Palpatine was in the temple shortly after Anakin and the troops killed everyone. I mean yes it’s possible it’s there but t’s a running Gag as well sothis was the first time this season they focused on it, it could have been to setup later in the episode but I think it could be the tracker
if frozen it wouldnt age..
i take that line as when he was stolen/captured and hid his powers. The empire where checking him for midichlorians the scientist mention he had high m-levels.. they wanted to use him to help palpatine..
