What caused Grogu to forget the darker times of his memory? Did some one force wipe him? Where is Ezra? The last we seen him he was with Thrawn when they teleported on those light speed whales. where is Sabine? The last time we saw her she was with Ashoka looking for Ezra five years after ROTJ. which takes place during Mandalorian.

This really did feel like a backdoor pilot.

For some reason I thought her Master would be Moff Gideon, but it's Thrawn . That's the blue alien guy from the EU books and cartoons that people love .

I'm not that familiar with the old EU, so this was a surprise to me.
Is a "Grand Admiral" higher ranked than a Grand Moff? Does this mean that there are TWO separate "Empires" out there, a Grand Admiral Empire AND a Moff Gideon pre-First Order Empire?

Nah. 50 years makes Yung Yoda exactly Anakin's age. So he was already in the temple when Anakin shows up in Episode I.

Means Anakin, Mace and Obi-Wan and alla them probably met lil Grogu

Even Qui-Gon and Dooku.

Ashoka mentioned that he was taken from the Temple before it fell, then his memory goes dark. I'm thinking he was actually frozen in carbonite or in some other form of suspended animation.

Wow this was the most star wars episode ever. The possibilities this season is opening up is so vast that we could have 6 seasons before even reaching the shyt show force awakens movie. Show a pre pussified luke in this series while mark is still alive and have grogu somewhere getting his master yoda on.

they said he cut himself off from the force so that explains why nobody sense him and means he is more advance than just some baby he just dont speak english.

I hope not. He really doesn't need it since he's such a skilled warrior. Some of the coolest people in the universe are the ones without the force...Han, Lando and Mando.
