No Whammies!!
Been thinking this but didn't take time to post it. I think part of wear this is going as a theme is that what Mando "thinks" he knows isn't actually reality. I think they hinted at it with Bo Katan saying he was from the particular group of basically zealots. Next episode he's probably thinking he's going to drop BY off with a Jedi but as the audience knows, they are splintered. To bring it around to the last few post, I don't get the sense that the major characters are destined to end up in the movie side. A lot of Rebels was the characters finding themselves often times outside of what they originally thought they would be.

Plus, he's looking for a "Race of sorcerers".
So, he thinks "Jedi" is the name of Yoda's species.

This is Baby Yoda's show from top to bottom. He's the star no doubt about it. The effects are flat out amazing and I don't even mind the rpg quest storylines but the fact that the Storm Troppers and Tie Fighters are so asscheeks in this show is what ruins the story imo. Do these guys even train? From the movies to the shows I'm tired of seeing these guys die repeatedly in the same fashion over and over and over again. That's why there was 'a new hope' initially in the SW world when Finn took his ST helmet off and we thought we were going to get a fresh take on things. But we all know how that went. Also there's too many set pieces/scenes/shots from the original trilogy in The Mandalorian. Its entertaining and good on the eyes but damn its frustrating because this show could be the greatest thing ever if they would cut the fan catering shyt and unleash it and let it run wild.

Just Win Baby
Maybe the reason we never hear from him in the Sequel Trilogy is because he joins the fundamentalist Mandalorians and they all reclaim their planet and totally separate themselves from the culture of the New Republic.

Plenty of possibilities, and in the end during the trilogy Baby Yoda would still be a child and Mando would be :flabbynsick:. Makes more sense that they wouldn't be seen
