Been thinking this but didn't take time to post it. I think part of wear this is going as a theme is that what Mando "thinks" he knows isn't actually reality. I think they hinted at it with Bo Katan saying he was from the particular group of basically zealots. Next episode he's probably thinking he's going to drop BY off with a Jedi but as the audience knows, they are splintered. To bring it around to the last few post, I don't get the sense that the major characters are destined to end up in the movie side. A lot of Rebels was the characters finding themselves often times outside of what they originally thought they would be.

They messed up with the timeline. The timeline for this show should be after the Rise of Skywalker.

Basically everyone in this show is going to die including The Child because there of course is no mention of anyone in the Force Awakens, Last Jedi, etc.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but Baby Yoda ages at a rate that he'd still be a child during the last trilogy. So conceivably Mando could have gotten him somewhere safe and he's still being raised protected from the world. He'll be ready for action by the time Palp makes his return again :russ:

Where the fukk is Michael Biehn? :lupe: I as hoping he'd be a recurring character this season. I hope he's not just a one episode villain, like how Bill Burr was last season.

This latest episode was dope BTW. I don't mind that so many episodes are basically side quests; this episode did a nice job of advancing the story as well.

My only gripe is that early on when they showed that alien repair-tech in a close-up after they turned around to watch Mando and the gang walk away, I knew there would be some fukkery. :aicmon:

I thought it would've been doper to actually not foreshadow that a tracking beacon or something was placed on the ship. It would've made the ending more dramatic.

Whats with the increase on calling things filler? Yall starting to sound like whiny children, just be thankful that theyre even making this given how ass the new trilogy was.
Yeah. I mean two things from my perspective.

- There aren't enough serialized shows these days. I know that long-form is what everyone wants, but it's nice to have stuff that's also serialized. It lends itself to rewatching random episodes without having to rewatch the entire series. This show is a decent balancing act between maintaining a plot the entire season, but also kind of being a side-quest show. I mean in all honesty, the Star Wars universe has always been smaller than most want to think. Side quests on this show help flesh out the other stuff in the galaxy.

- This last episode was not filler at all. it basically shows us the early experiments that lead to bringing back Emperor Palpatine. We know why they want Baby Yoda. We know that Mando is going into a trap. We know that the writer's haven't totally abandoned the idea of taking about metachlorions (sp?). Lot of stuff happened on this episode. Also, we know baby Yoda is stronger as well as more willing to use the force. At first he was super tired after using the force last season, and this time he did it super easy and for something that wasn't a big deal. Also with eating those eggs, they're letting us know he could possibly be dangerous.

Baby Yoda was born at the same time that Vader was. I’m not sure how old Vader was when he died but if he was alive during Madalorian, he’d be the same age as Baby Yoda, 50yrs old.

Man fukk Darth Maul:mjlol:

Relying on fan service and tired characters has been Star Wars biggest problem

I hope I never see that nikka again
And the fukked up thing there are so many good characters that are available to them that they don't even utilize cause they stay focused on the old shyt. I don't know who's bright idea it was too bring palpatine back. NOBODY wanted that shyt. Maul was not used properly in the movies, but he got a great Arc and send-off between Clone wars and Rebels.
