This is the wrong week for this.
:camby:
The CORRECT time to complain about a lack of original ideas would have been after The Force Awakes came out. What they are doing now is fixing that IMO.

By introducing more Skywalker bullshyt? That's them fixing a lack of original ideas? :francis:

They are. That's what all this High Republic stuff is about. It's going to seed future events. Also, I don't think you make a character like Grogu, who at 50 is still a child, if you don't have long term plans. They can pimp him out for the next 50 years, and he'll still be in his prime years. This is why they brought Feige in. The sequel trilogy isn't going anywhere. So right now they just need to fix the damage with the fans. Get them all happy, and at the same time, plant seeds for the future so that way they're all on board for when Disney is ready to make the jump.

If you actually believe this yikes.

If Sabine could give Bo Katan the Dark Saber then why couldn't Mando. Is it because they come from different Mandalorian factions

I think the Mando clans had to cosign Sabine giving the saber to Bo...
It just bothered me a little because Bo knows that the Saber was given to her before. I don't want her and Mando to be enemies but seems like the route they taking

No because they love fan service so much they're jacking off to it
You're right but the ironic part is I was fine with Luke coming back. And I'm VOCAL about Star Wars reliance on fan service

The Mandalorian got plenty fan service but what they're getting right is not making it empty and cheap. That's what gives fan service a bad reputation

They crafted it in a way where you'd be disappointed if Luke DIDN'T show up based on who he is at that time and Grogu /The Force calling out to him

But a nikka can say the cgi was trash and took you out of it a bit damn:mjlol:

Again tho you right and us criticizers might have to just gone head and wait till the stanning eases down a bit nikkas rabid right now:russ:

Pretty confident they are going to bury the DT as an alternate timeline of events...

I think everyone, including Kennedy, has come to terms with the fact it was a disaster that nearly ruined the franchise, hence the stronger focus on Rebels and hands off approach with Feige and Favreau...

If you watched SW Rebels, there is a way the DT can be split into a separate timeline, the "world between worlds" which is part of the Ashoka series logo...

There is obviously going to be strong emphasis on timeline/travel...
I hope yo ass WRONG as fukk my nikka:mjlol:

Star Wars got to much going on to dip into time travel/alt universes. I would hate that more than fan service. It's cheap as it gets

Keep in mind that Marvel's whole next wave is knee deep in alt universes and can become a played out trope real quick if they're not careful. We'll see how that works out

But "Oh that don't count that was another world" can't always be the go to. That's nuclear codes button level

And honestly the macro plot points in the new trilogy aint SO bad it can't exist in this universe. The real problem with the sequel trilogy is the emptiness of the characters
