brehs I don't give af about critics but it's weird that The Last Jedi has rave reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. Why did the critics love that mess? At least with Rise of Skywalker it was rightfully shyt on..

What about The Last Jedi did they like?

:ehh:

I could also see Young Yoda after training for a few years tell Luke he ain't about the Jedi life and would rather be a Mando with his old man
Grogu as a Mando? Interesting but as We just saw Jedi power levels are in another league than the Mandos and the rest of em.

I think a lot of things ppl hated about TLJ, especially intially, is why it's kinda standing up better now. At least they were trying shyt with flipping expectations etc. A lot of ppl grateful it wasn't just straight up fanservice/callbacks like Rise and Awakens. It doesn't feel as hollow.

Oh no doubt about that, but let's say he trains for 5 years or so. I'm assuming he'd have a good base of training that he can carry on with. Although his slow aging process throws a wrench into all of that

I hated that movie, but I think critics give it credit for being less of a rehash of the original trilogy than The Force Awakens was.
I'm not going to go on RT to check, but I'm sure almost all of those "rave" reviews were from the first opening weekend. Before it really sunk in that the movie was trashing whatever "setup" JJ had left behind in TFA. But the movie left the franchise in a terrible state, and it would have taken a team with more talent that the Rise of Skywalker team to repair the damage that was done.

Anyone else find it corny that sasha banks got the better of Boba Fett in a street brawl? They just do away with his bad ass aura by getting stole on

It was a stalemate. They not tryna make any of the Mandos look weak out here.. lol.

But then when Luke show up you can see what level the Mandos are at. Mandos are still street level in comparison to a Jedi that is fully trained

But arent mandalorians trained to fight jedi? Boba fett's gone toe to toe with vader in the books and survived

At this point of the timeline there's not many Jedi to train to fight.

They were better equipped to fight Jedi back when it was war times. Plus that book may no longer be canon at this point.

One thing I'm wondering about is whether in the current canon there are different "levels" of lightsaber.
That green lightsaber was cutting through those Dark Troopers as if they were soda cans. Would Ashoka's lightsabers have done the same thing?
Does this mean that the material that the Troopers were made out of is that much weaker than beskar? Or would the green lightsaber be able to stab right through beskar?

OR, was Luke using some kind of force powers to locate the exact microscopic weak points to cut them apart?
