He’s a really talented director. Like, I don’t know anyone that doesn’t like Knives Out, but I don’t know what the fukk he was thinking with Last Jedi. He really didn’t understand the lore, mythos, and characters in SW. Yes, he needs his ass beat.

To me that’s on Kathleen. She gave him license to do it. Looked great but fukked over the lore........

The most hilarious part is, he ended all the plot lines in the second film of a fukking trilogy...

This is the wrong week for this.

The CORRECT time to complain about a lack of original ideas would have been after The Force Awakes came out. What they are doing now is fixing that IMO.

Here is an article on the actor who played Luke in the non-action scenes. In another article it is said Hamill provided the voice but it sounded spliced in with past dialogue of the older films to me.

Hm. I actually thought that they used a body double for the action scenes and then actually used Mark Hamil for the dialogue/face reveal with the de-aging tech those were just my assumptions though.

I'd say maybe once (twice tops) more. I'd like to see a scene with Luke and Ahsoka together. Luke further finds out what his father was like from Ahsoka and Ahsoka finds out that Anakin turned turned back to the light side before his death from Luke. It's a nice way of putting two topics to bed and getting some closure for characters.

This guy was the "body" when Luke was just standing there. The action/Light Saber scenes were someone else, a stunt guy.

No lie...TLJ made me go back and appreciate the prequels more than I did before

Not for nothing, if the prequels had the benefit of Disney+ back then, we're looking at a completely different SW situation.

That's why I have hope for the future, now that Disney, the same company that has given us the MCU, realizes that you can make billions pleasing the fans, and the casuals and newbies will still show up because it's the hot ticket
