I just hope storywise this is going somewhere...Luke is Jedi lineage from Yoda as his master so makes some sense for him to train one of Yodas species. But then I wonder why he never mentions Grogu in this last trilogy. Guess we gon find out.

I guess I’ll be in the dissenting minority but I think a breh said it earlier in this thread but you got a whole galaxy of characters to draw off of and yet we keep exploring these same ole same oles. Could have brought in some new Jedi blood but I guess this the money play.

Anyway I’m wondering where they’re going with this and especially with Yung Gu. Since the Empire/First Order/Final Order apparently hasn’t died out then the Jedi’s can’t die out either which means someone has to restart the Jedi council back up. With the last trilogy we see a failed Luke trying to restart it up but what if Grogu was sent out to find more Jedi candidates and do just that after his training was finished. Maybe he was handed off to a different Master and that’s why Luke didn’t mention him is RoS. Just spitballing cuz I sure hope to hell they didn’t just show him for fan service.

except the mandalorian timeline falls in the middle of the skywalker saga. so your complaining is for what exactly?

also.. the look of rising fear on gideon's face is for one reason and one reason only. because when they said a "jedi" was onboard, he immediately knew there could only be one person tearing his ship in half: the young rebel-turned-jedi who took down two death stars, vader, palpatine and the empire itself. luke skywalker. as far as anyone who knows about Jedi is concerned, he’s the only one left. and if he got his hands on grogu, there is no "restoring order to the galaxy" as he so coyly put it to mando. that's why he changed plans and tried to execute baby yoda.
