There are levels within Beskar I believe. Mando got that unstepped on criznack

They go out of their way to say the only thing the dark saber can't cut is PURE beskar. So it seems Bo was gonna snake Mando for his spear. She probably gonna be a villain next season.

I'm curious on how Bo-Katan was gonna fight Moff Gideon. Is her armor beskar as well and it's just painted because if not what was she going to use to defend herself or even fight?

Its all Beskar. But Din got that premium. Uncut Beskar forged in the old way. Boba's is probably a more mass produced version same with Bo-Katan and her crew.

The Magistrate made a big deal about the spear being pure beskar so I guess there is some beskar cut with that inferior material too.

Yeah, Din is probably the only Mandalorian of the era walking around in 100% uncut Beskar - forged by the only faction that still clung onto the old style armor techniques too.....

that spear ain't even all that special. its just pure and Din probably was gonna melt it down into some more armor to be forged next chance he got if anything . and it ain't like Bo-Katan couldn't have just shot Gideon.... but there's no way she was taking all those hits the way Din did.

her vision for the franchise is deaded really. the host of shows branching off of the older canonical stuff (that is branching into unexplored areas) instead of the new trilogy proves her role in deciding the future trajectory for star wars is limited if not removed completely
