Did you catch the interview this past week about accidental deaths? MR has been fire this week.

I caught that one. Opened up my eyes to somethings I never even considered. I like how she explained that the term "accidental death" is a misnomer, because the overwhelming majority of those deaths are avoidable depending upon societal priorities and individual resources.

This was really good.

Yeah, that was a really interesting way to view it. If they were truly accidental deaths, you wouldn't be able to correlate them with poverty or race. I like how she used the speeding example. Two people speeding could both crash, but the wealthy guy with the new car with all bells and whistles is a lot less likely to pass away than the broke head with a cheap used joint.

Nomiki Konst blindsided the crew getting them to announce/promote her run for State Senate against an AOC/DSA endorsed further left candidate. There is also a Crowley in the race so Nomiki basically jumping in and trying to split the progressive vote.

Matt Lech and Emma Vigeland basically had to pull back their support on the show today.

Sam is off on Thursdays, so should be interesting to hear what he has to say tomorrow, if I was him I'd be kind of pissed she put them in that position. :patrice:

Honestly Konst always been a little sus to me, glad she'll probably be leaving the usual Tuesday slot after all this :mjlol:

Oh and now Aaron Mate/Glenn Greenwald jumping in on the fukkery too :mjpls:

nomi is sinema jr. be careful. she ran for office in west phoenix, got bushed, moved to NY and is now splitting the left vote.
even when she would do guest appearances on MR, she would be cool for a while and then say some very off-brand stuff. she goes to davos and other very toxic think tanks and is also a close friend of megan mccain. im not saying she is a terrible person but these arizona white women are slippery
