Probably the most overlooked album of Dylan's run of classic albums in the '60s, JWH is a return to the more acoustic/folk sound of his pre-electric days. Lyrically Dylan is more Biblical and less stream of conscious, yet just as open to interpretation as ever before. It's haunting and, in my view, his most cohesive.

for checking it out even if it wasn't for you.I know Dylan is supposed to be one of the greatest songwriters ever and an inspiration to a generation but I have not been able to roll with him in the past.
I tried again though for the sake of the music club thinking this album might be different. But umm.... Couldn't get thru it. His sound is not for me at all. I'm sure I am missing out on some level of genius. Maybe my ears will mature at a later date. Hope I am the exception and the rest of you really enjoyed it.
