Close to the mark.No I just think when I see a man wear a Bow tie, he's thought long and hard about that decision and has concluded he's going to be "killing 'em". Like that dude is on 100 and there is nothing no one call tell him.
I have worn the bowtie outside of work. I hesitated to wear it to the office because I wanted to skip any extra attention. So it took me like a week to just say 'forget it, I will just wear it and deal with the questions for a day or so....they can't keep talking for too long'. Surprisingly, I drew compliments and all but everyone got used to it after the first day or two and its become commonplace now. I usually wear a tie, so maybe a bowtie was not too far removed from my work image.
It wasn't as bad as I thought. If anyone was hating, they concealed it well.
As far as 'killin' em'....I did it for me...not to stunt. After wearing ties for so long, its dope to go through the exercise of tying a bowtie in the morning. Its a great wardrobe enhancer. I wear a newsboy cap with the suit also...its a good look for me. Dignified.
