When I hit my leg in the middle of the night, while walking to the bathroom.

Interview tomorrow afternoon, not really nervous but more concerned about making the best decision if I get an offer
Interviewed with the VP of the department yesterday for roughly and hour and then someone in HR for 10-12 minutes.
The VP is very chill kind of zen like. We were in a lounge area I. The office mainly discussing his vision for how the team is built and how they want to grow business with the primary client. He really only had one question about my skill set which I think I handled well since the answer was directly what he might have wanted. It's hard to explain but because of the type of work he knows what I have done and spoke to people about me already so I didn't have to go into detail about what I do very much.

It looks like he is going to take his time and find the best fit so he didn't have a time table which doesn't really bother me. He did mention have some other people internally give me a call.

One of my former interns works there and made sure to pop by when I was with HR so she's trying get me over there.

We discussed salary range and they said my number was doable and budget wise generally approved :noah:

I'm going to send two quick follow-up notes today and put it out of mind.

What did you wear to the interview breh? Were you generally comfortable and feeling healthy and on top of your game? If so, that confidence is palpable.

Have you been reading that book? If so, you know it could have helped you focus on the moment and relax because you would remember that you really don't 'need' this potential employer to choose you. You are choosing them. You have power too. Things will work out for you, with or without them breh.

But yes...send your follow-up notes...but keep your head up. You have done your part. Just let the seed sprout now.

Quick vent. A Couple things that grinds my gears.....

(1) I'm in an office with an overweight mid-30s black woman, I like her as a co-worker and she's a great person. But, I hate when she talks about "eating healthy" or any person who ain't exercising trying to tell me what's wrong and right to eat. If you ain't exercising, ain't shyt healthy!

(2) People asking me or CALLING me to ask me how to spell something. Da fukk? Google at our fingertips and mufukas asking me stupid ass questions that can be searched. RESPECT THE RED SQUIGGLY LINE

:salute:

Its an agency so the dress code is pretty loose, I played formal dark suit, etc.

Its was really more of a conversation than an interview so we just traded ideas back and forth. Like i mentioned i think the one concern he had about fitting me into the role I was able to answer well and demonstrate I had the skill set in a different application.

Slacking on the book but :lupe: on that thought process. I'm back to reading it Sunday.

Do you doubt my ability to pull this off in a fly manner?
No I just think when I see a man wear a Bow tie, he's thought long and hard about that decision and has concluded he's going to be "killing 'em". Like that dude is on 100 and there is nothing no one call tell him.
