Two people in my LinkedIn feed just updated their "job title" to "stay at home mother" - I don't understand why some women feel the need to be applauded (or why some people feign applause) for being stay-at-home moms. I would swear the mother that goes to work 40-60 hours a week and still is a mother (i.e. not reliant on a nanny) is deserving of more accolades than someone whose only job it is is to get the kids dressed, to & from school, pack lunches & cook dinner. My mom did all that shyt as a working mother

I had the creepiest dream last night.

I was walking home from school and this cop asked me where I was going I said home. He then asked to see my id I said "Here's my ID, fakkit." Dude pulled out a gun and shot me in my face.

I jumped straight up out of bed, sweating. Definitely one of the scariest nightmares I've had in years. Craziest part was that my face started felt numb and had a tingling sensation after I got up.
