It's always gonna be like that, even in a relationship you'll might find yourself doing more than your partner.

It takes so much to really be okay with the act of selflessness especially when you sacrifice something that you really need.

I've learned to always make sure I have my back and usually don't expect anyone to come thru these days. I can always expect myself to get it done exactly the way I want.

Looking back on what I said. I feel like in order to be selfless, there has to be genuine honesty that comes with it. I'm not saying it's a good thing to be selfless because everyone has different lives they live but this quality in people will never start showing until people generally start being more honest with things.
