^^^This… I changed fields by doing this…
4 year degree in Marine Biology didn’t work out, I’m currently an RN

started at a blood center and a plasma center… got enough sticks to qualify to take the certification test for phlebotomy, left the company for one that gave tuition reimbursement for nursing, did that… now getting tuition reimbursement for nurse practitioning school

Plumbing, Electrician, Carpentry, Construction, etc. Here in MD we have workforce centers that offer a slew of programs. Our community colleges too.

Check with your local utility company as well. These dudes came to replace some equipment last summer and the guy said he took a class and they hired him. He was getting at least $30/hr.

Look at the shipping port in your city. It’s some dues involved but being a longshoreman is a well paying trade, but can be taxing to the body.

Forklift certs are good too. Try a place like Home Depot or Lowes, they may sponsor the cost as an employee.
