As a parent you have to get comfortable with the idea that your kid may hate your guts the entire time you're trying to do what's best for them. I've also turned into THAT parent... "You know the words to those songs, but don't know that math work". "You can run your mouth on these video games, but cant speak up in class". I'm going to nag this poor child to death . I'm working on a better technique, I promise.
