Which branch of the military were you considering? This is tough. I'm leaning more toward you going to the military, just because I feel the experience is invaluable. I don't know how strict the military is, but I'm sure you could keep up with the carpentry industry and turbines via news articles or something and revisit it when/if you become a civilian. Rape the government for everything they are going to give you by enlisting because as a single non-military person, you're going getting fukked in taxes.

I thin once you're out of the military, it would be easier as a veteran to gain access to the network and capital it would take to grown your carpentry business like you desire. You said you don't really like it so you may find interest in something else while in the service. Not the Army though, they suck and they will probably send you somewhere to blow up innocent children.[/spoiler]

Airforce. Im eligible to enlist on march 5th and would be sent out around may or june. Thats true and my plan was to pay my 30 bucks a month union dues while in the military so i could keep my membership and then get back on if i wanted to once i got back. In the Air Force im thinking of doing airborne cryptolinguistics since language is my thing. Im a good strategist and ppl tell me politics is what I should go into so i definitely see it as being a means to an end bc thats what i was aiming for anyway. And thats true, im just not trying to wait until june to be shipped out but i definitely do wanna buss my guns and i lift weights and swim and run and wanna do all that extreme shyt in the air force like skydiving. True youee right

Yes. I got a month until i enlist and then 3 until im shipped. fukk it tho i need to just go and do it bc i know imma excel at it. Especially being 6'3" physically fit black handsome and good with ppl and multi faceted
