The military seems ideal in this situation, but I've seen one recruiter online say that he'd need atleast a GED. Getting that will definitely be somthing I'll bring up the next time we talk.Get an entry-level job at a place like Starbucks and work your way up. Commit to them and it'll pay. Some companies are big on growing with their employees and will hire homeless young people. Kitchen work doesn't require anything other than having a body.
Join the military.
I'm suggesting things he doesn't need a network to do. There aren't many options TBH and they're all risky. But if someone can't function in society like a normal person they have to find another way. Sports, military, skilled labor, and direct sales are sectors of business that lone wolves thrive in.
South Central LA. As far as family goes, EVERYBODY who's ever tried to help him, he did em dirty, even after multiple chances (mainly arguing and stealing from them). There's nobody that will take him in now. I came over one day and saw him outside crying; he said, "I just want my family ", but it's too late: No one wants anything to do with him. He's done me dirty too, but it's not in me to just act like he doesn't exist anymore like everybody else is doing. What city? Any family they can stay with?
Right now, he sleeps on a cot in my grandmothers garage, but she wants him gone soon, so it's the streets after that.
