The people who prioritize LGBT/immigrant are neoliberals, not progressives. Neoliberals love centering the party around those things because it's easy for a corporation/politician to post a rainbow flag on social media and score brownie points while continuing to be exploitative.

The meat and potatoes of the progressive platform (wages, universal healthcare, income inequality, climate change, unions, the environment etc) are things that cut into the bottom lines of corporate donors that the neoliberal & establishment cherishes.
