Someone gets up and want to watch a live stream and interact with the host about a new game they're excited to see and the host are outright ignoring the stream chat because people keep spamming drop the price over and over again.

Nintendo has a loyal fanbase like Apple. They'll probably be OK.....but charging $$$$$$$$ for outdated hardware is going to peel off some of the casuals. Feel like most folks have PS5/PC/Xbox for their primary gaming setup and then everyone gets a Switch as an alternative for Mario Kart and games like that.

Nintendont wants to price their shyt like a primary console. Who thinks it's worth it? We'll see.....

They are not entitled to a Nintendo product at a given price they prefer. If they don't like what Nintendo is charging they should just not buy the product and keep it moving. Instead they're out here harassing people online and throwing tantrums. Nintendo can charge whatever the hell they want. Same with Mario Kart World being $80. Don't like it don't buy it.

I've been saying that about a lot of gamers for the last few years. These are the most entitled, pessimistic, group of gamers ever. Nothing is good enough and nothing pleases them. Then they drum up hate online just to still buy the product anyway because of FOMO. I find it hilarious because some of those same ones were also rooting on the PS5 pro to fail as well as Assassins creed. They just move from gaming topic to gaming topic taking the contrarian stance to seem edgy when they just come off whiny

The time they spent in that live stream that's 4hrs of OT. Or cutting some grass or something to make the money to afford the console and the games. If you don't like the price don't buy it. But like I said it's opposite world out here. These are some of the richest and poorest people I see on the internet. They'll be at the bar buying rounds of shots for everyone but when gas is $3 they're complaining like the world is ending. If $450 isn't your cup of tea then just stick with the OG switch they'll still support it until you get your paper right.

Nintendo’s price is not unreasonable at all here. It’s $150 more than the Switch and you’re getting a much better product. I feel it’s a very fair value for what you’re getting.

I’d love a Rivian. I ain’t spending $70K and up on a vehicle. You won’t see me online yelling drop the price and harassing normal employees on a stream. I just bought a car I could afford.

It's such a simple concept that any logical person would come to. But we live in a very emotional time with both the women and the men. Everyone is entitled and think they deserve everything that they want and if they can't get it in their current standing then it's unfair and you have to change it to make it fair and there isn't anything that I have to do to change the situation because I'm perfect and nothing isn't my fault lol

Propped up a few straw men arguments I never made and argued against his own arguments. Never said nobody should ever voice descent on business products or practices. I said you shouldn't be online throwing a tantrum in their stream for fans who want to see a game demoed and interact with the host to the point those fans can't even talk to the host and are ignored due to comment spam.

Outright lied and exaggerate my behavior turning less than 5 post in a thread with almost 3000 into a alleged bombardment. When I had actual criticism for what a company did backed by points made about it.

it's one thing to say "I'm not gonna buy...", and then buy it. but it's understandable that people are upset that they'll have to pay too much for something they really want. I'm sure people weren't happy about paying scalper prices for their PS5, but they did it anyway because it was something they really wanted

If they choose to pay over the MSRP for a PS5 they're an even bigger fool and probably are the ones complaining about the games on PS5 now. It makes sense they paid 1K for it when it actually cost $450 so I can understand their frustration a small bit

At least somebody gets it. When is the last time a company ever changed policy and referenced people spamming comments in a live stream as the reason why? Never. The Wii U came out. People wasn't feeling it. They spoke in a way a corporation understands and in about 4 years there was a complete turn around.

A protest? Man we talking about a damn video game this ain't that important. Nintendo doesn't give a damn about a protest from people who are mostly gonna buy the game and or system anyway in the first place. The only thing Nintendo cares about is their bottom line.

Nintendo is a shit company. Selling limited edition digital games. Pulling cheat codes from all their games and selling them as cheap made in China overpriced plastic figures with a NFC tag on them. Cutting off generations of previous consoles titles availability, cutting off their online functionality, putting out lazy remasters and ports of games fans on the Dolphin emulator put more effort into upgrading and charging full price for them. Such a dirtbag company will not be moved by that act.

All those people did was get the fans on that stream that wanted to chat with the host playing new games ignored.

Bro it's crazy out here. Just looking at it. The Switch 2 is $150 more than the OG Switch. The amount of things it can do over the OG justifies the price point to me. My only gripe was the lack of OLED screen but I know that's coming in 2-3 yrs because that's how they operate. If I didn't feel like it was justified I wouldn't buy it and move on with my life. I'm not going to spend my free time trying to force a company to sale their products to me at a price that makes me comfortable.
