The level of entitlement of these Nintendo gamers is disgusting

Bullshit they went into a stream that had nothing to do with pricing and flooded the comments with complaints about the price.

I have occasionally commented on this discussion forum about how I feel the gaming business model has evolved to the point where selling DLC is more lucrative and companies make more off it than selling the game so they don't need to raise the price of games at the entry point. That's a logical argument about a subject it's not me throwing a tantrum on a live stream spamming irrelevant comments because I'm upset.

Me commenting about something being a poor value for logical reasons I actually give in a conversation about that item when others are talking about it doesn't compare. You're just using false equivalences and strawmen.

nikka, stop lol

you complained about 70 dollars games on here and bombarded the BG3 thread for over a year talking about refusing to buy it for 70 dollars.

doth protest too much to be making threads like this

You just be on here lying your ass off. There are 2725 post in that thread. I have 15 total and not all of them are about the price. If you search that thread I have 4 post mentioning price. That's a total bombardment of 0.001%

Because posting in a thread on a message forum specifically about $70 games and the implications is totally the same as disrupting a live stream to the point the hosts end up ignoring the entire chat.

From what IGN could see, the presenters of the Treehouse ignored the chat entirely.

Some of yall be making some really fucking stupid arguments. I mean really really fucking stupid. Reading between the lines coming up with stuff not in the book. Nobody said critics of a company should be silent. Nobody said people shouldn't have opinions on what companies do on pricing. I said you shouldn't be throwing a tantrum on a livestream because you don't like the price of something to the point the host just ignore all the comments. There's a difference between voicing an opinion and throwing a tantrum disrupting something.

I don't agree with what Nintendo is doing BUT the same energy was not kept when they were talking about the next GTA potentially being 100 dollars or the price of the PlayStation 5 Pro. In other words protest all of it or not at all. Now gamers want to take a stand because Nintendo.

When were they supposed to drop t tee comments in a GTA6 stream? It hasn’t been shown in almost 2 years. And most importantly a price for it hasn’t been announced so what’s there to complain about?

Stop it. Nintendo thought they were slick not putting the prices in the direct stream. So when were people supposed to complain about the prices? They showed up to the next event to vent their displeasure. You can’t separate a consumer product from its price.

Do you also think we people protest in real life they shouldn’t do so in the streets since the road had nothing to do with the election?

My problem with this is that gamers have no self-discipline. They’re not lashing out because of the price, they’re lashing out because they know they’re gonna buy it anyway. This is like when nikkas said “I’m not buying Scarlett/Violet, I’ll just have my such and such buy it for me.”. That’s still giving them money you stupid bytch!
Whining about some shyt they’re not gonna stand on.

:troll:We’re boycotting Game Freak, we’re boycotting the PS5 Pro, we’re boycotting Hogwarts Legacy, we’re boycotting Rockstar, we’re boycotting 2K, etc etc lol. I think the last time gamers actually stood on something. Was for Overwatch 2 and the Xbox One.

it's one thing to say "I'm not gonna buy...", and then buy it. but it's understandable that people are upset that they'll have to pay too much for something they really want. I'm sure people weren't happy about paying scalper prices for their PS5, but they did it anyway because it was something they really wanted
