At least somebody gets it. When is the last time a company ever changed policy and referenced people spamming comments in a live stream as the reason why? Never. The Wii U came out. People wasn't feeling it. They spoke in a way a corporation understands and in about 4 years there was a complete turn around.
"Spamming comments in a live stream" is a very specific metric but game companies change shyt all the time because of feedback. Just this week tekken 8 announced an emergency patch to a previous update because of feedback. Microsoft derailed their entire Microsoft Kinect platform because of feedback.

This shyt works for games more than almost anything.

All he did was string together a few logical fallacies and outright lies.

Propped up a few straw men arguments I never made and argued against his own arguments. Never said nobody should ever voice descent on business products or practices. I said you shouldn't be online throwing a tantrum in their stream for fans who want to see a game demoed and interact with the host to the point those fans can't even talk to the host and are ignored due to comment spam.

Outright lied and exaggerate my behavior turning less than 5 post in a thread with almost 3000 into a alleged bombardment. When I had actual criticism for what a company did backed by points made about it.

Now it's mocking the "sanctity of YouTube" or whatever.

This him

I bet you cracked your knuckles and said, "This was some good exercise :heh:" after you typed that shyt

The Kinect feedback was literally how it impacted the sales of the device and how it drove the price of the device up over it's competitor. Nintendo knows the price is an issue to their customer base. They don't need feedback on it. They did a whole direct and never once mentioned price then buried it in press releases. You think that was an accident? You think they're unaware. The 3DS and Wii U show the type of feedback Nintendo requires to take action. Spamming a live stream because something cost more than you want to pay or can't afford isn't the way to get them to do anything. It's just getting in the way of the people there for that stream.

Bro it's crazy out here. Just looking at it. The Switch 2 is $150 more than the OG Switch. The amount of things it can do over the OG justifies the price point to me. My only gripe was the lack of OLED screen but I know that's coming in 2-3 yrs because that's how they operate. If I didn't feel like it was justified I wouldn't buy it and move on with my life. I'm not going to spend my free time trying to force a company to sale their products to me at a price that makes me comfortable.
And even beyond that nobody has their hands on one of these things for a teardown to say what the components in it are and how much it cost to build. This is a knee jerk reaction to seeing a price point they don't like and not any assessment of a value provided for that price point. I expected at least $399 which would be $50 over the OLED. another $50 on top of that doesn't really seem to be unreasonable.

Eventually this thing will come out. There will be a second hand market, there will likely be a portable only version. They'll be able to get one for a better price.

Also keeping it real $150 isn't shit. That's a night out on the town and probably not even that. If you can't afford to spend $150 more on a hobby and you're probably getting at least 6 years out of the device you got bigger problems to worry about than buying a game console.

I mean the Switch came out in 2017. If you set $65 dollars in a savings account every year. Hell let's round up a bit to the next dollar and say $6 a month you're at $504 saved. That's the retail price of the console and 12% more to help cover tax. Truthfully in a high yield account that's closer to $600 easy.

Instead of people thinking like this they just bytch and moan online. Those same people I guarantee have at least double that $6 a month in wasted spending. $450-$500 is not expensive given 7 years to plan for it.

Take it a step further.

Bruh stop being weird. It's been damn near 20 years and you still on this weirdo shyt.

My nikka, there is NEVER a reason to bring up investing and high yield savings accounts in a discussion about the affordability of entertainment goods and services.

NEVER!
