The booking of the CC (no surprise here) is pretty much mirroring how NJPW usually books the G1. There will be some upsets and fluke wins that are supposed to play into stories later on in the year but in the end the winner of the tournament will likely be an established guy.

I can see last night's match of Shelton/DG playing into something for the TNT title but I don't know if Shelton will actually win the belt.

i dont think thats possible. Okada has 7, Kyle has 9. Remember the tie to start the tourney? If Okada beats Shelton he gets 10. If DG beats Kyle then DG gets 10. So thats Okada and DG advancing with 10 and Kyle left behind with 9. But if Shelton beats Okada and DG beats Kyle that leaves DG to win the block and Shelton, Kyle, and Mark all tied at 9. But there's no way a tie can happen with Kyle and Okada.

Draw earns a point. 3 way tie
I didn’t do the math because I’m not gonna try to figure out every potential win/loss/draw outcome. I just thought since the block is close there would be something that could have a tie for first place.

Mercedes vs. Hazuki 4.75 stars from WON

Dave called it the best women's match on American soil this year

Damn didn't he say the same about Mercedes vs Statlander?

Mercedes on a legendary run, love to see it. Over at the E, Charles is getting ready to come back and stink the place up again. I know who I'd rather watch.
