my issue with listing accomplishments was that those things dont determine worth or talent, it speaks more to the booking ability and opportunity than the talent itself, Swerve wouldnt even be in consideration right now if he was still in WWE, would that have meant he's not as talented? No it would mean he hasn't been properly utilized and given an opportunity. Same way we all know Montez Ford can be one of the BITW but isn't given an opportunity.

And yes, saying "our nikkas are the best nikkas!" is an issue, if he wouldve said "we have most of the best Mexican/Japanese wrestlers" twitter would be on fire.

That's not what he said. I read the same quote you did. And you're stuck on solely the booking, they've talked a lot about wrestlers being paid what they're worth and that's also a big part of this. Swerve's booking isn't just because TK woke up one day and said I'm going to book Swerve to go over, u can see how the crowds reacted to Swerve and the performances he was putting on, he was given a chance sure but he made the most of it and got himself a main event spot and a big new contract. That's all anyone wants is a chance.

"Just close your eyes and pretend it's not happening, stans gonna stan!" isn't going to work for me. something i notice being mentioned is the booking. now not gonna argue that booking isn't important but there are other factors at play. especially in the wrestling business. opportunities can be given but its up to the talent to utilize them to the best of their abilities. i mean look at how PP have stepped up recently in their quest to become tag champs. even someone like Harley who isn't a big star but has been trying to put good use to her promos and get support. its all about how one presents themselves. like for example Top Flight. they get featured often especially on Rampage and Collision but they don't really do much to stand out compared to teams like the outrunners.

the coach can give a player plenty of playing time on the field but if the player isn't using those minutes wisely, then the fans won't have a reason to care about them.

Mercedes has been very vocal in her newsletters about showing love for all wrestlers, in all companies... and showing the world that she's training with Trin or Bayley or even some of the NXT talent in Florida or when she was giving props to Solo Sikoa the other day..

But does any of that get reported on here? Of course not.... because a lot of y'all love the stan war bullshyt It's the only thing some of you even care about That's the truth... I don't see any posts saying "hey that's cool of Mercedes to give props to WWE talent"
