I was suggesting smaller venues a LONG time ago but MFs were spazzing out and here we are.
Fact of the matter is that for the weekly programs, a smaller venue just makes more sense in creating a better, more intense environment without the constant stream of tarped off sections flooding Twitter every week. Improving presentation and cutting back on negative publicity is basic business strategy.
For a wrestling tape collecting dweeb like Tony, you would expect him to understand that tv tapings should be in small arenas period. Imagine if Bischoff kept having Nitro at the Georgia Dome instead of Tupelo, Mississippi or some butt swamp part of the south. It would be terrible on a financial note than the issues they already had.
Daily's Palace should have been like the IMPACT Zone, and a few places near the south should have been the end game. Grow slow and profitable, versus bleeding and catering sicko beard behavior.
There is a reason why TNA despite the fact that no one gives a shyt sadly is still in business....they believed in security.
When Bischoff and em ran the company into the ground, somebody else had the vision to take it out of the hole it was in. From Billy to Scott, the reality is small venues means bigger reap of harvest.
Hopefully this is the start of something greater because I want that same feeling for Dub, as I did trying to figure out who the Butcher and the Blade were
