They still had low ticket sales

Thus just sounds like plead copping :unimpressed:
If true...

You're the #2 promotion in the world trying to make a footprint and you're asked to do this (again, if this is true), you're not WWE level in which a city or even a country can ask and pay you to have an event.

If you're AEW ypu have to abide by this.

War Dogs invading AEW?

AEW signing Gabe and Clark?

Or did Takeshyta’s dual contracts with AEW and NJPW open up a new system for dual contracts for more talent? That could be a big boost for NJPW and allow them to stop bleeding talent over financial reasons while also giving AEW wrestlers more chances to get quality reps.

I've never seen a wrestling promotion get picked apart like this from beards lol. What AEW is doing is unprecedented. They are a distant #2 to WWE only an idiot would question that. But they've still been able to be highly profitable even when their ticket sales are down.

WWE in 1995-96 era was running high school gyms and could barely scrape together enough fans to do a 'WrestleMania' in Hartford, CT and I know a lot about Hartford, it's a complete shythole Lol.

If AEW was ever that bad the posts about them "dying" would make sense :russ:

WWE was so bad off financially during that era that one of their cost saving measures was switching from paper to email memos.

Hey man this is the same IWC that was saying TNA was the no 2 promotion after the WWE partnership.

Right. To their credit, they survived and turned it all around again. There's plenty to criticize AEW about without going into complete stan mode

Is there, really? I asked this question elsewhere and the idiots couldn’t answer. Goes to show they’re just a bunch of stooges. :mjlol:

AEW has its faults, but I don’t think it’s as big as people make it out to be. My only real issue is the lack of promotion to make Collision feel like a real show. Second would be the Death Riders stuff, but the live crowd enjoys Cope pushing back against them. Third is Jericho all up in the video, but at least Bill and Bryan get some shine.

For some time the trios and tag titles were background, but TK’s been doing a little with them recently.
