If I were to start, I'd have to say the Death Riders are the most glaring thing on the show that people ain't fukkin with. I know Edge is over and in a way he's injected some life into it but most people just want that stable to be over and for Mox to drop the title. It's way past due.

Another thing I'd add is just Tony Khan in general still failing to properly announce/promote who and what is going to be on the shows week to week.

I'll grant you @MenacingMonk that most of the stories going on aside from the Death Riders are good right now.

The WWE does the same shyt tho. They only announced Tiff/Lerae the day of the show on Friday. They just announced some matches for Raw today. NXT is the only promotion, that I see, consistent with announcing stuff 1 week out.

I agree that the main shows on WWE have fallen into that as well but I think most people are criticizing Hunter for it aside from the super fans, thing is most WWE events are still selling well ticket wise so it hasn't hurt that much far as business goes. Yet.

It’s because the E is a brand name that has been around for decades. and with Cokeboy gone the casuals are returning.

Even when WWE sales were lacking they were still doing decent numbers. I remember the SD I went to back in 2016/2017 (?) was about 80-85% filled at Staples. Survivor Series that had DB/Brock was packing.

There was a time think it was around 2019 or so and then following the pandemic that had some sparse crowds. WWE has always gone in cycles but there's been some rough periods even after they became the global leader in everything wrestling

It's low key hilarious how Jungle Boy hasn't been used in months and no one cares :mjlol:

I will say that he at least made the tnt title more relevant than DG has since becoming champ. Who knows what would've transpired if the stuff with punk never happened, or maybe his small size would've been a setback regardless, but the booking for the tnt title was much better when he had it.

Kind of hard for DG to make it relevant when they don’t let him do anything with it :yeshrug:

My biggest qualm with AEW right now is there are too many titles.

They’ve got four hours of TV and eight titles. If they want to have a division properly booked for every single title - meaning whatever the champion is doing PLUS building up the next challenger - then they need more time.

Even when they had Rampage it wasn’t enough as all 8 title divisions were never all in a healthy state. There’s always been ay least one title if not multiple with problems. Either the champ’s reign sucked, there wasn’t anyone built up to face the champ, the champ rarely ever defended the belt, etc.

Three guys I don't "get" ... Jungle Boy, Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia. I wouldn't call any of them terrible wrestlers but I do not see anything there beyond midcard/jobber. None of them should receive any type of push or valuable TV time.

Edit: I'd have mentioned Sammy Guevara but I think TK finally gave up on him

It's a rumor Kenny is about to win the international championship and face the AEW Continental Championship in Texas and the winner gets both belts and get rid of one

They got some big time feuds. They just gotta get some of the titles involved to make them better. No matter how unimportant a title may be, make it seem important. Like the continental one could either be a major feud involving Okada or have been the title feud for hangman and mjf. At least Takeshyta and Kenny have a title match and been feuding, but need something similar for continental and tnt titles.

Hook enlisted Barry Bloom as his agent. Guess that settles he isn’t willing to go to NXT.
Remember how some of the dirt sheets or podcasters every few months for like the last 2-3 years were all like “HOOK is going to NXT when he becomes a free agent”

:mjlol:

Ain’t no one enlisting Barry Bloom’s services to take an NXT contract and Bloom wouldn’t even take that person on as a client.
