Just because you don't like something doesn't mean it's not true.

Bed, Bath & Beyond went bankrupt loltop 2 angles in the E the last year were nikkas fighting over a necklace and a bracelet.
it isn't about what's being done, it's the execution. It's viable to book this storyline and have it work considering the history of Taz and the towel. I just don't have faith in AEW's ability to tell that story in a way that doesn't feel like a canned, corny, forced 'passing of the torch' moment.
If they could, the angle would definitely be doable.
Honestly I'd just keep it to a backstage pre-tape. Explain that the towel is how they focus, block out everyone else, whatever it may be. Give Hook a reason to need to lock in. Then just have him do it for a match with stakes, and have him come out on a mission. It'd take him upping the in-ring intensity. If he has a second gear they want to debut, it'd only take that pre-tape.
Take a weekend. Call Joe, Shibata, Taz, Hook, a cameraman and a Bad Bath & Beyond run. Give Hook a TBS title shot to lock in for (and win) and you could get him over in a week for less than a case of eggs costs![]()

Half of those people going to NXT. I don't see Yuta or Keith Lee going though.
Not really enough content to justify that in my opinion, though it would be good for AEW. I’d rather see them more regularly featuring it on the home page first. Maybe once all the tv shows thru 2024 get up there. Right now the only tv on there is 2019.good to see the PPVs going to MAX. Tho what I think is they should put a section strictly for AEW like Peacock has with WWE. I don't know bout no coding or app development or anything but shouldn't be too hard to create an AEW section separate from other sports. Put a tab with each show, PPV, Dynamite, Collision, and Rampage.
Hopefully the future ones can be on there as well to make it easier for folks tho I doubt it would be included with the regular subscription package. Maybe having it include the lower tier ones like dynasty and wrestledream and worlds end, with the main 4 costing a fee like usual.
I agree Perry and Yuta wouldn’t go anywhere in real life but got damn if this isn’t a logical list. Honestly no real reason to retain any of themIf AEW were to do another round of releases of notable talent, who would you include in it?
I’m going with…
- Rey Fenix
- Danhausen
- Jack Perry
- Keith Lee - but still cover his medical bills if that’s a thing
- Scorpio Sky
- Wardlow
- Wheeler Yuta
- Britt Baker
- Kamille
- Saraya
