I always find those type of posts funny.... "nobody is talking" according to what? The demo ratings for AEW are higher than the demo ratings were when NXT was on cable and by the way, Mercedes vs. Iyo Sky on NXT was one of the only segments of that time period to reach over 900,000+ viewers and beat the main event in AEW The NXT comp is a strange one. I remember when Charlotte Flair went down there and they were doing 500k lol

Now some remedial poster will say "Oh are you shytting on NXT now?" because they can't recognize context. Lmaooo

What is "acclaim" Lol.. star ratings? podcasters? I love the NXT women's division, we talk about it on here every week but our enjoyment of it means nothing really. People who worry about such things are the people who have ulterior motives and agendas. The people who hate on Mercedes here are two types of people. First, there's the people who hate on any black wrestler that doesn't sign with WWE. Then there's the select few who hate on her because they have an ax to grind with me Like they don't make it obvious hahaha

When AEW started it was Riho and a couple others being pushed and she didn't even show up half the time. Then it was Dr. Britt and maybe Thunder Rosa. Nobody else was getting TV time.

Now there's a bunch of women getting TV time, having great matches and building their characters up. But "what's different?"

Is it true that there wasn't one black wrestler with a singles match on a main roster PLE all 2024? I read that somewhere... I watch most of the shows and all of the PLEs and it was still staggering to read.

Not that AEW is perfect by any means but you know the usual suspects would be in here with some sort of "gotcha" arguments, etc...

its not even an AEW vs WWE to me its reality with what you see with your eyes. We had people on this same forum telling us Montez is ready but they have yet to give those guys opportunities.
