Nah, it's not that. It's that there's no logical or realistic scenario where Adam Cole beats Kaun, or Orange Cassidy beats Powerhouse Hobbs & Shane Taylor (all of those things actually happened, btw). We might even see Darby Allin beat Brody King, soon.
Little guys can be believable (Bryan Keith, HOOK, and Lee Moriarty, for example), but they at least look like they they can fight in real life.
Jungle Boy, Adam Cole, & Little Darby aren't in that same class.

Darby's believable because he puts his whole weight, speed, and force into each move. It looks convincing kayfabe wise that he's this maniac kamikaze wrestler who has pain resistance.

Guys like Rey MisteriGOAT would outpace & outquick big guys until he wore them down or surprised them, but Darby, Cole, & them go toe to toe with hosses & it looks weird sometimes.

how is that a Vince thing? It's an entertainment business thing. Why do all the top actors get on steroids for action/superhero movie roles? Why do directors go to great lengths to hide how short certain actors are in those same roles? When people meet actors usually the first thing you think is "damn I didn't realize he was that short in real life"
