At first I thought it didn’t make sense, but if it’s done right it will. Have Lashley just destroy Darby and after the match the beating continues. Then have Swerve make the save.

I don’t know if they should bump heads physically right away, but I’d save that for later. Just have Bob and crew leave once Swerve comes out with plunder.
I think they gonna play like swerve is leaving Nana and then MVP and his crew is gonna attack Nana and swerve saves him to go against the group

Lol... collision needs new blood I think it was supposed to be CM punk show to run but we saw how that went and Tony was like forget the show
Last time Shane got involved in. Reactive in any capacity at WWE he got fired for it being so shytty and that was during the old ass Vince bullshyt era.

If you want him to book then give him the book in ROH and make him prove himself before handing him the reigns to one of the shows that just netted them $185 million dollars. ROH weekly product is already one of the worst booked weekly shows in all of wrestling, if he maintains the fukked up booking then it won’t even matter.

We don't know what the ratings will look like when they stream on Max cuz they might get a lot of the viewers watching on there instead of TBS.

The thing with the ratings discussions is they often serve no purpose. I say attendance is a bit more important but even still.

You would think AEW or Dynamite was the worst wrestling show ever whenever a rating is low. Especially according to the twitter clowns. And everyone's criticism of the product not gonna be the same cuz some may enjoy stuff that others don't. Especially with the Ospreay and Ricochet match.

I'd understand criticism about the product but there are stuff in aew and even wwe that isn't gonna be liked by everyone. But using ratings as an argument seems kinda pointless. I'm not gonna like a show less cuz it got low ratings and high ratings doesn't guarantee I'll like everything on there either. We all have our opinions on the talent whether it be like, dislike, or don't care either way. Whether 650k watch a show or 2 million watch a show, we can only form our own opinions.

Saying :oh I didn't like the part of the show that had jericho" is understandable but saying "oh they didn't reach 700k viewers cuz the show sucked" is not the same.

Tony Khan himself says ratings are the #1 form of fan feedback so take it up with him

They had the six man setup for Rampage and the tag for title Tuesday but nothing for Collision tonight. I know they going against bad blood so not expecting them to try and wow us anyways. Plus there's ufc that night as well so I'm sure some will be watching the preshow instead. So it's gonna be interesting to see what they even have planned for this week's show.

The ratings discourse for AEW won’t even matter anymore.

Whatever ratings they get for the rest of 2024 is largely irrelevant at this point because the media deal is already signed. Might effect some sponsorship opportunities or something but who the fukk cares about that outside of the suits?

And whatever TV ratings they get starting in 2025 will be irrelevant because people are going to be watching it in Max instead of TBS/TNT. And unless something changes, then we aren’t likely going to get any public ratings #s out of Max unless the #s are good.

Like their is basically 0% chance I am watching Dynamite or Collision on YouTube TV starting in 2025 because I have Max. At worst we’re just going to get the exact same cable tv feed with commercials and all, at best we’ll get commercial free and in higher quality. At this point it might just make sense for me to cancel YouTube TV next year or at least only sign up for selective periods. There’s zero reason for me to have it in the summer anymore since AEW was the only thing I was watching on YouTube TV all summer.

Not surprising that some are missing the point. Streamers don't release accurate or detailed information on "ratings" and what they look for internally is how many people are watching the programs at any given time since anyone can log on and watch at any time including replays since it's on-demand.

There's no way of the public knowing how many people will be watching RAW or Dynamite live or on replay beyond guesses from Nielsen or if a streamer happens to release data themselves like a press release but Hollywood contends that those numbers can be spun in various ways such as "one minute of viewership counts as 1 view" etc.

That is why the ratings "argument" that people still want to have makes no sense.
