Falcom honestly doesn't have it in their budget. Imo after coming from the look of Cold Steel just a port of Zero and Azure might sell very underwhelmingly. They would have to remake these games and at that point, it is not worth it. We are already two games behind with Hajimari and Kuro (releasing this year). Personally I rather them focus on localizing these 2 first.

The consensus from Falcom fans is that the Geofront patches for the Crossbell games are on par with the translations NISA has provided.

I got the Trails from zero fanpatch and coincidentally the Trails to Azure fan patch was just released a few days ago. :ehh:

I need to play these series, but its daunting...am already 10 hrs in CS 3, much better pacing than the first 2.

rean,is kinda dry, doesnt help that he doesnt try to get with any of the chicks haha..and guessing the game will allow me later down the line. But he's far from the worst rpg protagonist i have dealt with.trust me

It's not really Falcom it's more the localization companies don't have much incentive. Older games on mostly dead platforms. When the newer versions come out it could happen.

So I just started Sky and there are some things some Falcom players mentioned to me regarding it.
1) There were no difficulty settings in the Japan release it was only added to the localization or something along those lines.
2) You can't change your difficulty while playing.

I feel like newer players might get discouraged if they don't know about this stuff going in. I think this is worth putting in the original post @Grand Conde

Ain’t nothing wrong with Rean as a character I have no idea why people diss him.

Dude is an anime archetype WITHOUT the whiny disposition. He’s perfectly serviceable
Because Estelle, (redacted due to spoilers), and Lloyd are better.

Walter, the best enforcer is back along with Zin and Fie. Can't wait

Damn kids today..

That enforcer music. They better bring it back. The remix they used in that final battle with McBurn elevated the battle to another level. And McBurn is the best enforcer. He almost bodied the Radiant Blademaster and he's a calamity that exist beyond human understanding.

I was speaking more in terms of character, back story, personality not pure strength.

But Campanella and Mcburn are right there

On the last chapter of SC.

Will jump on the 3rd at some point. Heard it's no as good as FC and SC, but it has more fukkery.

3rd is an interesting experiment. Almost the entire game takes place in a single dungeon.
Much of the cut scenes are completely divorced from the game’s main narrative. It has doors that you have to bring certain characters into and you see a story scene that usually ties up loose ends from FC and SC. The party is almost every character imaginable from FC and SC by the end of it.

To be honest I never finished 3rd. I got to the final part of the dungeon and stopped playing it. I kinda know how it all plays out so I never revisited the rest but some day I might.

It’s a game every Trails fan should play but I would prefer they not make another game like it.
