The Wii U version has a lot of QOL improvements and addressed most if not all the issues people had with the original.

TP, ALBW, and BOTW aren't trash games either.

I wish we could get a Wind Waker/Twilight Princess HD combo pack. Couple of great games. It'd also make me willing to finally sell my Wii U.

I think it's an underrated Zelda entry. Final boss is great. Worth playing if you haven't before. This is definitely much more like WW (shame on you for not finishing it) than BOTW.

They’re adding some new QOL features, the original was a chore of a game

I don’t know how to describe the feeling of the combat especially the Ghirahim and Koloktos fights and the puzzles in the dungeons Skytemple up until BOTW I felt the sophistication of the puzzles cranked up a notch with Skyward Sword
pure piff the hate is unwarranted.

the orchestral boss fight music is so beautiful

The flaws are:

the imprisoned repeated boss fights bad boss design

the Tadstones quest

Some repetitive parts

lack of exploration

strengths:

puzzles

story

dungeons

combat

I say this as someone who has beaten every Zelda outside of

The Oracles
Minish Cap
Zelda 2
The DS games
