This whole season has been . Korra said "Let's go get him'. Varrik is the unsung hero in this show. He steals every scene he's in, and never breaks a sweat. Why doesn't Lin know the Zaheer's squad though?

Creator Bryan Konietzko said as much with a Tumblr post, as did Michael Dante DiMartinto, who added via Facebook: “There is most definitely a Book 4. All the pre-production is done and Studio Mir is hard at work on the animation. This was a disappointing development for sure, but as long as you all are able to see the show in some capacity, I’m grateful.”

So.. things can change, but hopefully Season 4 is still a go and we get it online.



(Nick Mexico/MundoNick is also still being blamed for the leaks causing the rushed roll out causing low ratings. Again, who knows what was really behind Nick Mexico leaking.)

I'm kinda wondering if Lin's sister is secretly in league with the Red Lotus.

She seems a little too nice. And having the Avatar go off on her own with no guards (other than her friends) would be exactly what they'd want her to do.

Varrick would be too predictable.

Su kind of fits...not only did she encourage Korra to do exactly what would be most likely to get her caught, but she also has a history of hanging out with criminals. And we're supposed to believe that her top advisor or whatever was in league with the Red Lotus for years (remember, they were in jail for 14 years) and Su didn't know anything about it?


But then again maybe I'm bugging. A lot of people thought Asami was an Equalist and she ended up being a legit good guy.

I don't know if Old Zuko can but he couldn't in the OG series.

Iroh even tried to teach him but Zuko was never able to because...basically lightningbending requires peace of mind and Zuko just had too much angst.

That battle with the Red Lotus taking on everyone was great, I liked how it started with them hopping out of bed and going to work immediately.

Agree that Varick is great, perfect voice casting and animations.

First and foremost, creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael DiMartino addressed the elephant in the room to remind us that ‘Legend of Korra’ is NOT canceled, and that episodes will be released online weekly beginning with next Friday. August 22 will see the two-part season 3 finale released. Both admitted that the shift to online didn’t occur as smoothly as they might have liked, but that Korra had always had a stronger online presence, and that the shift has been happening more with their industry.
