I still like the writing and the different themes they cover in Legend of Korra but yea TLA can't be topped.

And introduction, cameos, and a wasted villain is a LOT of nothing in the grand scheme of things.

All that time on pro-bending.... not only do they never revisit it again, the fights weren't even worth entertaining.
What else did you want to make up for "nothing"? Training? Aang barely spent time on training. Explain to me what made that season "nothing."

The pro bending wasn't a big deal. I'm not one of those cats who cares too much about fight scenes. I have watched plenty of kung fu flicks for that.

Because there were no permanent effects on the universe from Amon essentially not getting shyt done. The other books in LoK? Significant world changing effects. Season one is more cameos, an introduction to the new universe, a bad romance plot, and uh.... I guess that's it  No one is ever gonna say "Book one changed everything :wow:" Just won't happen. Amon was cool but that's about it. And he didn't actually do anything. Hell, the most menacing about him got watered down and thrown out (his ability to take people's bending away). Declawed the breh.

And cool, you can not care about the fight scenes for books one and two - books 3 and 4? They're piff and they'll get props for it :yeshrug:

So just because there was no world changing event? That's why? :dead:

To say the season had "nothing" because of that reason is ridiculous. But, hey, that's like your opinion, man.

Yeah, that's exactly why :dahell: in every other book in TLK something happens the overall universe. Season 1? They don't even maintain the changes and substantial events that occur for certain characters going forward lol

If you like it because Mako and Korra almost but didn't, Amon accomplished nothing, and flashbacks that's entirely on you though:sas2:

That's just being picky. The creators probably didn't do any of that because they weren't sure if it would be picked up for another season.

Aside from the flashbacks, those aren't my reasons for liking season 1.

Brehs I was watching a random season 4 episode yesterday and it still gets me weak how fukking ruthless that bytch Kuvira was. It's crazy how overpowered some of the great benders can be. It seems like it takes a lot of creativity and imagination to be a great bender. Something about dope ass earth benders gets me fukkin hard tho son.

I like her more than Zaheer. They didn't even give him a backstory or put focus on WHY he is who he is.
