3 pulled the stops. It was really rewarding for people who played the other 2 sets of games.Buying the first one
I stopped playing cs 2 after the inferno palace, I thought the cross Bell people would be short lead in to 3, found after playing three I missed out of something.

One of the instructors in 3 is one of the 4 main protagonist from Crossbell. One of the characters in your party is from Crossbell but not featured in those games. There's a solid chapter dedicated to Crossbell in CS3. CS4 however is from what I hear is also a sequel to the Crossbell games even though it's in the Erebonian series. Not sure if you played the Sky games but CS4 is really the point you'd have wanted to play the other 2 series because all the plots converge. Tita from CS3 is a Sky protagonist and Agate is too.
Pre-ordered the digital deluxe edition. The pre-load never went live. Still can't even download or play the game. Sony and NISA playing footsies about who's fault this is and no resolution is in sight. Meanwhile people that didn't pre-order were able to download and play right away upon release.

i beat part one, am in CS2 chapter 1 maybe two but why this game gotta be so slow .....is like if i play more than an hr i start falling a sleep, CS 1 ended with a bang and instead of keeping up the pace its back to slow pacing again

different strokes for different folks i guess....am still playing CS 2 but MUCH slower than i would be on other rpgs. Only reason is because i wanna know how it all comes full circle.
This game opens with like 30 minutes of cutscenes that mostly feature characters from the Crossbell and Sky series and some side characters from Cold Steel. At this point sitting through something like that having not played Crossbell and Sky must be mind numbing. There's almost no explanation of who any of these characters are. When you finally get control you get to play as protagonists from previous games with nobody from Cold Steel to be seen.
This is the game I say you most definitely want to have completed Sky and Crossbell by just given this intro.

I'm trying to find copies of the Trails In The Sky, was it ever released physically in the states ?
And if it was, am I too late ?
I wanted to cop all of the games in this series and start going down the rabbit hole.
