But yes, Ellie killing Abby makes the most fukking sense in the world. Ellie kills Abby, it would prove to her and us the gamer that it doesn't being her any real peace. The PTSD doesn't go away and she ends up alone and broken more than before. Throughout the game Ellie convinced herself that she NEEDS to kill Abby, especially the second attempt. For her to just not was fukking stupid. Especially at the moment she loses 2 of her fingers. You lose two fingers in a fight and you see if you gonna let the person responsible get away with it in the moment

You not only NOT kill Abby, but you free her and let her live her life. This shyt was fukking trash b

That shyt was bombarded with thousands of over emotional losers giving this a zero within 10 minutes of the game being available, that shyt is not accurate in the slightest, and it’ll never match the critic score, but it says something that it’s steadily going up as more people are playing through it

Abby went with the sole purpose of killing Joel , Tommy and Ellie had nothing to do with Abby's dad dying. Her friends wanted to kill Tommy and Ellie
but she stopped them. She even says how if they come across a group from Jackson , she wouldnt kill them...she would just injure them to get answers about the location of Joel.

Abby seems like the type that doesnt go around killing random people for no reason.

I feel like Ellie should have killed Abby/Lev more so as there’s literally nothing stopping them from making it to Catalina Island telling them that Ellie is still alive. Just because they wouldn’t go after her doesn’t mean the rest of the group feels the same especially if they know what all went down.

Ellie would probably go with them. No struggle.

People who played the game can't think that it was trash ??? Smh. I waited 6 years for this game and loved the hell out of the 1st one. 10/10 would put it next to the first one which it doesn't even compare to. But agree to disagree

The point of playing as Abby is to create moral ambiguity, she's not Joel who has killed innocents for vengeance and/or to cover his tracks

There's a lot of things to criticize about the game, but a lot of the complaints I've heard are about the wrong things. Discussion around it is exposing a lack on people's part to critically think about a story, instead judging something on the merit of how good it makes them feel or how logical a character's decisions are. Well, humans aren't logical beings who make the smart decision every time. Humans operate on emotion, and a realistic and layered story portrays that.

I've yet to see many people criticize how well the game fleshes out its themes, or its pacing issues, or the heavy handed aspects of the storytelling, etc. Those are the things that matter, not whether a character makes the perfect decision at a moment in time or if there's a brolic chick showing her titties on screen
