ND doesn't compare to R*. Totally different stratosphere.

Rockstar is 100% in a league of it's own. I agree. But if the general consensus made a list for storytelling and ranks it:

1. Rockstar
2. Naughty Dog
3. ??? (depending on the person/fanboy it might be Nintendo, a Sony affiliated studio, or CD Project Red)

With sales aside. One thing's for sure. Rockstar, and Naughty Dog are currently at the top.

If ND wasn't great storytellers. There would be no hype for TLOU2, or any Uncharted game. If Uncharted 5 were to get announced tomorrow. People would pre order and discuss where the story would go.

I do rock with ND (admittedly I'm sour on them with the current decision-making), but best for best, I got Red Dead 1 and 2 writing way over Last of Us (what I think are considered both company's best written stories)

I think they make up a lot of ground once you get deeper into the catalogues writing-wise, but at the top I do think R* is in a league of their own.

Honestly TW3 I have right on par with TLOU, but I'm not gonna act like I really rock with CDPR just off of the one game I've played so far, especially compared to ND

CD project red has had only one good game. You'd have to be naive to champion them already. I've seen many people say ND is better than R* which is why I have no problem shytting on ND

The writers to this game are idiots and can’t say they didn’t think there would be a backlash to the clear agenda inserted into this game. Lesbian yep check and trans character yep check. Joel’s death just seems pointless where is his redemption? And turns out Ellie isn’t so special so Joel’s choice in part 1 isn’t as grandiose as it originally seemed. Dam so disappointed with the spoilers I really really really was anticipating this game and have been for years now. Didn’t they realise the driving force of the last game was Joel and Ellie relationship and the evolution of the character of Joel. It would have been better if they just ran with new characters and based it in the same verse........fukk this bullshyt.

Basically what I read was that Abby is a tranny (female to male) child of one of the doctors at the end of the first game that Joel kills that is out for revenge because he murdered her parents. She murders him and Ellie brutally and becomes the main character. There is talk about a homophobic Christian cult also being the bad guys and apparently they believe they are chosen because they are also immune like Ellie. There is talk that there is loads of lesbian scenes and that one of the scenes is Ellie and her girlfriend in the middle of sex and they have to stop because people walk in.


So how much of all of that is real and anyone got the real spoilers? fukking cacs I tell you

Story telling Rockstar above ND? Hell no at least until recently. ND was above then story telling wise, we’re Rockstar had them was due to the vastness and open world of their games. Then again I guess it is all subjective depending on where you stand like you said.

I dont mind Ellie being gay but I don’t play the games to see that shyt. I just want to blow people’s brains out and indulge in the father and daughter relationship that her and Joel have going on. Also the fact that there are a bunch of people also immune completely negates the first game and the ending. So what’s the big deal about Ellie just go grab someone else.
