Critic reviews are paid for trash, we all know that but the user reviews of this game are...

Political agenda pandering outrage aside, this shyt cannot be THAT bad...

It showed parts of Joel, but I never assumed he’d be with you as everything gameplay wise was just Ellie, I’m not sure whats delusional about that

and I’m probably only about 20% in, and my honest thoughts right now...great gameplay, Graphics, combat, voice acting/performance, and everything about the story so far is legit, I can’t poke any holes in this story (so far)...but, I’m not invested in any of these new characters (yet) and a couple of movement glitches

I told you in the other thread, you’ll get my honest thoughts when I’m done, doesn’t matter how much I loved the first game

BUT, also like I said, you gotta admit, there is a lot of overreaction and hyperbole to from people who have literally no intention of experiencing this game properly, I’m all for disagreeing and having a discussion but it’s hard to take Those opinions seriously

as far as the other 2 aspects

*I don’t believe it’s a bunch of overreaction and hyperbole based off the story narrative I was watching Angry Joe last night and he made a perfect point playing the game on twitch ... he said how is any body going to believe this story of (2) 18/19-year-old girls traveling across the country to fight and take on a militia group that has already defeated a pseudo-army previously

*I don’t know if you watch the video that I linked previous but he says indeed the truth when TLOU2 was scheduled to be released at first most people felt that Joel was going to be dead and the images that you saw were basically flashbacks moments in which ND came out with their main trailer leading up to the release of the game ... showing Ellie from behind like she was about to be attacked, as the camera rotates towards her face and a hand covers her mouth as to protect her.... as she turns around and looks and says “what the hell are you doing here” ...BOOM... you see Joel saying “did you think I’m a let you do this alone”.... this was all you needed to know that ND was telling the potential buyer that Joel was going to be part of this game throughout

stop being slow breh, I understand they swapped him out in the trailer, I’m saying Joel in that trailer ALONE shouldn’t make you think or assume he is with you for the whole story, you are mad at everybody else for something YOU assumed, I mean...you literally put in this very post why everyone else also thought the same as me, that most signs pointed to him being dead/dying

also, using Angry Joe as an example is a bad idea he is constantly exposing himself as a dummy, And using the teenage girl taking on a militia criticism is dumb as fukk, by that logic you might as well shyt on every single Game, Tv show or movie With a revenge plot, shyt even your typical action movie/game, Because they ALL have a protagonist slaying hundreds of people in ridiculous circumstances, and I’m mad at myself I even had to point that out, smh at people even dapping that bullshyt

imma leave it there and drop my thoughts when I’m finished with the game

The problem with this game is no one is reviewing the game...If you're for the agenda you love it, if you're against the agenda you hate it...

I know that you said you’re only about 20% in and you can obviously tell that original scene with Jesse comes somewhere in the middle of the game .... Which only proves my point and defeats yours so I don’t understand why you keep saying this

and I understand that you’re a huge fan of the company ND but with that said you’re being completely delusional with the story narrative of two girls taking on a militia .... now I get it - it’s a game, a video game, which is meant to be fiction but that defeats the purpose when the company making this game : made it based off the storyline & and the individual who is behind the game Mr Druckmaan has said this particular game IS NOT to have fun .... so when you take those two components together - you must give a story that is realistic and there isn’t one person on this planet that believes two little girls can take on a whole militia ...come on you’re better than this

Yes I know this like I keep telling you, they swapped Joel out where they had him in the trailer and replaced him With Jesse for the actual game I get it

and I’m not gonna go over that realism angle in detail again, by that logic you might as well throw out Tomb Raider, Uncharted, Splinter Cell, GTA and just about any other game story that revolves around you shooting people, it’s a dumb af Critism

Went through 20+ hours of revenge just to not take revenge because suddenly you see Joel.


Story made no types of sense.

From what I’m seeing, had they killed Joel at 70 -80% in of this story, ND could’ve avoided a lot of drama.

The problem is they gave this new character a revenge arc but we know nothing of her and Marlene was not set up as a critical character in TLOU1 to drive that story.

They do a lot of back and forth with timelines, I’d be mad if they killed him at that point and never saw him again but you spend some parts with him through flashbacks and bits leading up to him being killed

I'm still trying to figure out why I wasted 10 hours playing Abby when she didnt do/say anything that made her any type of a sympathetic character

Ellie, after taking out Abby's entire group and 100s of other mothafukkas who just happened to be there suddenly feels that revenge isn't the play?

Dina already said that she wouldn't be there at home if Ellie went to get Abby, so when she returned and the house was empty, I was just laughing hard as hell.

Cant even play the song your father figure played because you lost two fingers to the bytch who went Hot Shots Golf up the side of his head, brehettes

Sounds like they killed the main dude from the first one just to have you play as a butch chick that could pass as a treh for the extra agenda check mark...

I watched one video on the death of Joel, butch chick asks him to take a guess who she is and dude just looks at her like while bleeding out on the floor...

I don't care how good the gameplay might be, if the writing and story is that nonsensical bad, this is a 6-7 game at best...
