Finished it and started my 2nd playthrough yesterday, great game. 
Not gonna lie only a few games have ever made me tear up, this joins them
I don't mind Joel dying at all, his death makes sense. I think people will come around once they marinate on the game for a few more months.
No one was fukking with my Solid Ellie, but watching her deteriorate over those three days
Jessie as soon as he appeared in Seattle I figured he was probably gonna get fukked up, didn't expect him to get a ya blink and miss it death.
Was wondering how Abby was so damn big, then you see how she was built when she was younger
But seriously her being built makes sense, she's been training to kill Joel and she's a damn soldier. And obviously a soldier pretty high up since she knows the WLF leader Issac. Hell the stadium was pretty much a military base.
I gotta say I thought playing as Abby was harder then Ellie. Abby's tool set is definitely geared towards going loud, ammo crafting and Incendiary shotgun rounds. Her stealth kill takes long as hell, Ellie's is on some quick shut the fukk up shyt.
That sniper part where dude pulled down the shutter. I'm thinking yeah this will be light work, I'll go around and kill your ass.
Then he pops out and blinks Manny outta existence
Then you find out Tommy's the sniper, wasn't even expecting it
That fight against Ellie when you're playing Abby
So that must be the terror dudes is feelin when I was playin as her
Got peaced out by a mine, the machete, and then that damn shotgun a whole lotta times. Rush her brehs
And then she beat the breaks offa Ellie
Out of all of her friends I think Nora got the worst death, everyone else went relatively quick. Don't think Owen deserved what he got, he obviously didn't want no part in any of the shyt. But he should have said something or dipped out sooner. Then again him and Mel probably would have just gotten enslaved by them rattlers.
Speaking of which that dog the bounty hunter looking one punched the shyt outta Lev
That last chapter though
Ellie and Abby looked so god damn pathetic once you get to the beach and then that last fight. Just two broken people fighting who don't actually want to fight, but one needs the closure.
I think Abby and Lev definitely got to the firefly's. Pretty sure Ellie probably went back to Jackson to.
Of course there will be a part 3, probably won't come out until the end of next gen though. Doubt we will play as Abby ever again. Wouldn't be surprised if there is a considerable time skip either.

Neil pretty much implied that Ellie goes back to Jackson. He said they originally had Ellie pick up J.J.'s toy and take it with her when she leaves but they felt that it made it too obvious that she goes back.
this clip shows why the ending of last of us is stupid and that the entire cycle of revenge story doesn't make sense.
Ellie went out sad as shyt. No family, no home, and 2 less fingers. 
While this wasn't perfect, I enjoyed this more than the first. You really can't totally root for anyone in this story and I believe that's entirely the point. Joel really doomed humanity, Ellie has become a monster, and Abby is still an almost ruthless killer. I'm in for a 3rd but that should be the end of it.

Yeah... that woulda been really obvious. Replayed the last fight again real quick so I could watch the ending again. She did have the bracelet on.. so she definitely went back. They gave enough clues if you know what to look for

Then the crying about Abby arms. I stayed up for another 4 hours watching vids lol at this shyt. People were nitpicking every thing and almost everyone was not telling the story right. That Angry Joe dude said it was unrealistic to tell a group of strangers your name. I was like

Abby literary could have solved all her problems just by killing Ellie and Tommy because obviously they were gonna go after you and your crew. At some point it becomes a security issue
. And its funny that herb tried to make the game sound "deep" and "thought provoking" but got shut down with quickness .
I like the fact that Joel was killed, especially the WAY he was killed. The Disney fantasy world of all good guys gets good endings needs to be flipped on its head more often. It’s a breath of fresh air in terms of story to do something like that. I’ve said before...I play games primarily for the story elements, and this game did a great job of that overall. It’s not perfect, but I wasn’t expecting it to be perfect either.
That long ass mission to get Lev’s sister some medical supplies for her surgery just for Lev to run off to the island leading to her death anyways
