Idk if you noticed but if you go back you’ll notice the camera focuses on the kid Abby was with.

Yeah Lev was looking in the shadows like...

I for sure thought that it would end with Ellie killing Abby, then Lev killing Ellie.

I really don't know how you could of done this particular story better than they did. Actually clapped when the credits rolled.

Read the thread breh. Most of the ppl who don't like the story have offered up great alternatives to appeal to the masses

That ending was so emotional man. When you go to the pillars and see all these muhfukkas strung up and you see one NPC with a pony tail and your like finally got that bytch only to find that ain't Abby and the real Abby looking like she got the house in virgina looking sad as fucck.

Having to slice up Abby(who I thought was an awesome character) and beat her ass after she done got broken in for months by the rattlers.

Whole time I'm like Ellie let it go...but my controller still moving to try and get the dub.

The PTSD when Ellie got her underwater and that final break when all the hatred left her body.

Ellie killing Abby at the end would've been a Pyrrhic victory. She kills Abby in gruesome fashion, spits on her and kills Lev for the fukk of it. She "wins" the battle. Yay Joel AVENGED.

What exactly would be different? The L's would still be taken. Revenge is the surface theme of the story.

It woulda been a 9 on metacritic revive Joel and it would be a 10. Remove the heavy-handed SJW agenda and it's an 11

They did her wrong in this game. After Abby got the drop on her in the theatre nothing else mattered. Ellie looked like a straight up loser and winning the final battle wouldn't have evened things.

I read somewhere that Druckmann had her coming back to get that stuffed bear but felt it was too direct, so I take that for what it is originally I thought she was more-or-less aimless

That’s my point Ellie lost that fight as soon as Joel killed the doc and Abby hit the weights Abby is inevitable like Thanos

Nah she was headed back to Jackson. When she got back to the house she knew it was empty. Her, Dina, and JJ are all back in Jackson. I think there was a note from Dina mom on the table inviting them back IIRC.
