Hopefully they don't advertise Abby and kill her within the first 30 min in Part 3
biggest mistake of the pandemic for me was reading what happens in this game because i assumed i was never going to get around to playing part 1
i played it last week and got mad invested in the story, but its a dub now because i know the huge twists in this one that got everyone tight so its not even worth playing

It’s worth playing though. If you liked the first game then this one will 99% blow that one away. Combat is leaps and bounds better and the plot points that were spoiled won’t effect all the character moments in between them that get you invested. The stuff that got you invested in Joel and Ellie is present in this game with the new and old characters imo.
It’s worth it man, a lot of people in this thread felt the same until they played it

Breh i played the first 1 three different times and its great, I strayed away from part 2 for the same reasons you did but its still a great game definitely worth playing. I learned my lesson from listening to weirdos on the internet fam, dont make the same mistake, cop it on sale.

Any plans on them doing an upgrade for this on PS5? I want to go through it again but am sure some sort of PS5 enhanced version will be ported out.

ND could be working on two new IPsNow that Neil is feeling himself, I'm excited to see how he can improve on TLOU2's combat and immersion in a sci fi/space setting

I expect a new IP from ND in 2022 and another in 2024 (3 years to make for the new directors)
Then TLOU3 to finish off the generation after Neil is finished working on the HBO show
I could see ND aiming to create TLOU quality stand alone games

i played myself not getting into this game for so long, it was mad fun to play
the story in this one was bad though
real bad to the point where im curious if it has the same writers as the first one

I'm up to the part where you switch characters and i don't really feel like playing with her. I keep killing myself periodically on purpose. I just jump off a building here and there.
Get ready to play as her for the next 12 hours
My first play through I thought I would play as her for maybe a couple of hours at most to get her back story but...
