I see what they tried to do with the whole tell the story from different perspectives shyt but it didnt work for me. I wanted Abby to die. Wanting to see her die is what pushed me through her portion of the game. I let Tommy kill her numerous times on purpose. I let Ellie kill her numerous times on purpose. I tried to shoot her in the back in the final portion of the game going to the beach. I do not like this juiced up chick. They tried to make you feel bad when those Wolves died but i was happy. I cheered when Tommy smoked the Mexican guy.

I want to be able to play Ellie parts as Abby and Abby parts as Ellie. They have a couple unique powers that id like to use in different scenarios. For example you really dont get to use the momentum power with Abby that much since she doesnt fight as many infected as Ellie. And that crossbow wack as shyt compared to the regular bow. I was really hoping they would have something where you play as both of them and can switch between them.

I feel they give you ample opportunity to play that way, but they don't really steer you towards it

I didn't even do that Momentum upgrade tree for the longest because I wanted to keep playing like Ellie but I see a lot of footage of her dropping bombs on mfs

Its going to take time for me to get through the point that some of Abby's weapons are "weak". Guess pipe bombs are supposed to just stun the enemies so you can run up and strike them? I was expecting them joints to be as strong as the mines Ellie can use to fukk up them dogs. And it seems harder to one hit kill with the crossbow.

Them shyts don't kill the enemies, just knock em around. When you use a mine all that's left are chunks of meat. I like the mines and explosive arrows a lot more.

I think ND missed the boat with the story. The first one was gritty and it was rough but there were also times where you had feel good moments. Good moments that actually stayed with you throughout the entire game. This games story is pretty much bad, to bad, to shock value, to oh here is something that's presented as good but it's really there to make you feel worse later on. There aren't any story beats I actually want to experience again.
